Description of Work:A. The Work is generally described as SAISD 2022 Chiller Replacement at Cooper Academy at Navarro. in the San Antonio Independent School District. The Work is more particularly described in the drawings, specifications, proposal documents and other Contract Documents prepared by CNG Engineering, PLLC. B. There are documents for SAISD 2022 Chiller Replacement at Cooper Academy at Navarro included in this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals. The Offeror must submit one Base Proposal indicating the total proposal amount to construct SAISD 2022 Chiller Replacement at Cooper Academy at Navarro. An individual contract will be written for the project with the aggregate of the contracts equaling the Base Proposal total.C. If awarded, the Contractor must proceed with the Work of the Project as indicated in the Project schedule on the plans. Questions Due Date: Dec 6th 2021, 12:00 PM CST.All questions are to be submitted electronically. The Offeror agrees to have the project (including any accepted alternates) substantially complete by July, 22, 2022. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Proposal Security ("Bid Bond") on a form substantially similar to AIA Document A310 (1970 Edition).An original Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Payment Bonds confirming coverage must be submitted to the School District within ten (10) working days after the date of Notice of Award. The Owner desires the promotion and involvement of SWMBE in construction. Although attendance is not mandatory, all prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and have reviewed specs and plans prior to the pre-proposal conference.
