The East Litchfield Fire Company is accepting bids for a Fire Pumper. Any questions pertaining to the scope of the work, content, or procedure for submitting proposals should be directed to Deputy Chief Johnathon Cattey, Truck Committee Chairman, by email to be received no later than December 3 th, 2021. Contact information is as follows: East Litchfield Fire Company Deputy Chief Johnathon Cattey, Truck Committee Chairman JCattey@Yahoo.com (860) 405-6668 The East Litchfield Fire Company reserves the right to change the scope of the project after the bid is awarded, without penalty to the East Litchfield Fire Company. All changes in scope will be documented as such and approved by the Truck Committee Chairman or East Litchfield Fire Chief. Each bidder must submit a bid bond or a cashier's check with his or her proposal for the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price of the proposal submitted. A 100% Performance Bond shall be supplied within thirty days of the bid award. The signatures of both buyer and bidder on the contract shall construe awarding of the bid. The prime apparatus builder shall provide the performance bond. Any bonds supplied by the dealer or representative shall not be acceptable. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids on such basis as the purchaser deems to be in it's best interest.
