Proposals submitted under this Request for Proposals (RFP) will utilize funding authorized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This RFP process is designed to focus on funding new public facility projects that establish or expand the organization's capacity to provide programs and services to low- and moderate-income Phoenix residents. The proposed Public Facility grants will assist nonprofit organizations to expand services to support the needs of low- and moderate-income Phoenix residents. The purpose of the funding through this RFP is to provide non-profit organizations that serve low- and moderate-income communities in Phoenix with funding to improve service delivery of critical programs and services. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. A "performance bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all the contractor's obligations under such contract. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract.
