Renovation of a water / sewer project in Richland Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of constructing: 1 Lump Sum Exterior Overcoat 1 Lump Sum Dry Interior Partial Repaint 1 Lump Sum Wet Interior Spot Repaint 1 Lump Sum Cathodic Protection System 1 Lump Sum Pit Piping Repaint 1 Lump Sum Roof Handrail and Painter's Railing 1 Lump Sum Overflow Flap Gate 1 Lump Sum Roof Vent 1 Lump Sum Mud Valve 1 Lump Sum Sample Tap 1 Lump Sum Cleanup and Restoration This Project Summary is an overview of the entire Project and is intended but is not guaranteed, to place all project specifics in one location to aid Bidders. Tank Information: The structure is a 250,000 gallon spheroid with a low-water level of 106 ft. located at 1099 N. Hemlock Rd. in Hemlock, Michigan and owned by Richland Township. Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard, and apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Spot abrasive blast clean spot coating failures to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard and apply a spot two (2) coat epoxy system. The estimated surface area is less than 200 sq. ft. and is randomly located (most of the coating failures are on the sidewall and access tube) Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire tops of the platforms (including 1 ft. up the riser wall), the baseplate, the riser stiffeners, and coating failures throughout to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the prepared surfaces. Pit Piping: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Cathodic Protection: Install an impressed current cathodic protection system.
