This first renovation project is part of a renovation plan for the entire building which will take place over several years. The purpose of this call for tenders is the partial renovation of the Berri sector, which includes the facade of Berri mainly the first and second floors, the Sainte-Catherine façade at the corner of Berri and an adjacent sector in the interior courtyard. The work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of brick facings; Reinforcement of structural lintels; Replacement of the aluminum windows; Replacement of aluminum and plaster soffits; Insulation and waterproofing work; Replacement of lights; Demolition, protection, flashing, patching and other work necessary for completion complete the Work. The work also involves all related work such as: site development and cleaning, temporary protection work , repairs and modifications to existing interior fittings, jointing, repair and drilling work required. The Contract also includes the recovery of certain existing equipment and its reinstallation. The Contractor must consider that the users and occupants of the building will continue their activities during the work, in the spaces adjacent to the work zones as well as on the floors above and below. The Contractor must act in such a way as to minimize inconvenience to users and staff. The Contractor must not, under any circumstances, prevent free access by users to spaces other than those expressly designated for carrying out the work. The Contractor must ensure that users will have access to the premises and facilities in a safe, healthy and seamless environment. The Contractor will be fully responsible for controlling access to the premises and the site. In situations where the Contractor must perform work elsewhere in the building or in cases where he must cut electromechanical services, he will do so outside of normal hours of occupancy by users, according to the authorizations. of the Owner. Finally, the Contractor will be fully responsible for safety and temporary protection on the site. The Contractor must carry out his work according to the phasing provided for in article 3.2 of the Additional and / or special general conditions and coordinate his work schedules with the Owner, considering the restrictions relating to noisy work.
