Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lakeland, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development; and transportation facility.
This project involves renovation of an existing office space as well as improvements to public areas on the second floor of the terminal building. Limited demolition involving the upgrade of the public restrooms and several walls and flooring inside the office space is required. Public area and office space improvements will include but may not be limited to new fixtures, cabinetry, paint, flooring, power and data drops, as well as workstations (cubicles) for employees. Due to airport operational needs, all public area improvements must be completed no later than march 2022. A preliminary concept sketch for the area(s) involved is attached for reference. This solicitation will follow the requirements of florida statute 287.055 termed the "consultants' competitive negotiations act (ccna)". Rates shall not be included in this proposal. Submit all questions to Ms. Linda Alspaugh, Purchasing Agent, via e-mail at purch@lakelandgov.net or fax (863) 834-6777. In accordance with the state of florida consultants competitive negotiation act (ccna), f.S. 287.055, the city of lakeland is requesting sealed statements of qualifications from firms experienced in professional construction design-build office renovation projects. Questions regarding this request for qualifications should be in writing Briefly identify the staff that would be assigned to this project, their role and availability during the period of late January 2022 through March 2022.
