Description

Site work and new construction of a civil project in Bandera, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of construction of a new 100,000 Gallon elevated storage tank and replacement of existing high service pump station at the Mulberry Street Water Plant, associated piping, appurtenances, site work and grading for the new tank, demolition of two (2) existing ground storage tanks and other water system SCADA improvements at various locations. See plans, specs, and contract documents for more information. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Bandera or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Bandera reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Bandera for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
