Per the owner, an award will not be released for this solicitation. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This sources sought announcement is to conduct market research for a Small Business (SB), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Design-Build (DB) and Design-bid-Build (DBB) construction services in support of the Kansas City District. This is NOT a solicitation for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. NO reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code that will be used under this MATOC solicitation is 236220 "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction". The small business size standard for NAICS 236220 is $39.5M. This sources sought notice is restricted to Small Business (SB) set aside firms. This notice is a market research tool used for planning purposes only to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested SB companies. Solicitation will utilize competitive procedures and is expected to result in a target of five (5) MATOC awards. Anticipated contracts may result in multiple pools from differing small business categories. Tis sources sought notification is projected to have a shared capacity value of $45,000,000.00 to $95,000,000.00 for a duration of a five-year base. No one pool will exceed $45,000,000.00. MATOC Capacity value will depend on sources sought responses and bonding capacity. Task Orders will be Firm Fixed Price issued against the established MATOC awards for individual projects. Task Orders will range from $2,500.00 to $20,000,000.00. The total amount of concurrent task orders will not exceed $20,000,000.00. The scope of work for the resultant contract will primarily be associated with sustainability, renovation, modernization, and vertical construction work in support of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, District. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supervision, and equipment for the design, construction, repair, and/or alteration to sustain, restore, facilities issued in the individual Task Orders. The following information is requested from this Sources Sought notification: 1. Firm's name, address, point of contract, phone number, email addresses, and business category. 2. Firm's DUNS number. 3. Firm's interest in providing a proposal on a pending solicitation, once issued. 4. Firm's capability to perform a contract of potentially up to $20,000,000.00. 5. List the competitive advantages that your firm can offer in terms of cost. 6. Does your company have previous work experience working with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District 7. Any documented LEED experience on vertical construction projects. 8. Confirmation that your firm is a Small Business in relation to NAICS code 236220. 9. Joint Venture information, if applicable. 10. Experience: Evidence of successful construction experience on Design-Build projects between $1,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 in size. Include the following: contract numbers project titles total project dollar values points of contact (POC) with current contract information to include phone and email addresses project name description of key features of the project (i.e., square footage, multi-story, etc.) completion date total contract value and your companies' level of involvement in the project provide at least one (1) POC (email and phone number) for project validation. More importance will be assigned to recent experiences. 11. Firm's bonding capability expressed in dollars (construction bonding level per contract and aggregate bonding level). The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
