Unauthorized contact with the using department during the bid process may subject your quotation to rejection Scope of Project: The scope of this project is to provide labor, materials, disposal, machinery, and expertise to install livestock heavy use areas according to the detailed plans provided within this bid. The work covered by this bid includes the following: Site preparation 1. Installation of a heavy use area per Natural Resources Conservation Service Conservation Practice Standard (NRCS Heavy Use Area Protection Code 561) which will provide a stable, non-eroding surface for areas frequently used by livestock and farm equipment. 2. Horses will need to be rotated through pastures so that work can be completed. Therefore, each pasture will need to be completed before moving to the next area of work. 3. Heavy use area installation will be scheduled and coordinated around contractor installing fence. 4. NCSU Facilities will mark utilities. 5. Grading as indicated to prepare for installation of heavy use area. 6. Installation of approximately 47,056 square feet of heavy use area for livestock use.
