Job Location 22185 Masonic , St. Clair Shores The proposed project consists of complete rehabilitation of an existing 200,000 gallon abandoned water tower located along Masonic Blvd. near the St. Clair Shores Golf Club at 22185 Masonic Blvd. The project involves the complete restoration of the existing water tower including paint/coating, new steel support columns and accessory bracing. Removal and replacement of existing column baseplates and anchors, repair to existing footings and complete restoration of the site. Bids will be received by the City of St. Clair Shores until the date and time listed below. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is March 1st, 2023 and substantially completed by July 1st, 2023 with final completion by July 15th, 2023. Site Inspection The CONTRACTOR is required to investigate and become familiar with all conditions relating to the work to be performed by it under this contract; shall verify all measurements and materials required under this contract; and shall be responsible for correctness of same. The CONTRACTOR shall not be entitled to any extra charges or compensation for any errors, omissions or miscalculations on the part of the CONTRACTOR, or because of the failure on the part of the CONTRACTOR to investigate or inspect the site.
