Please refer to the owner for information on how to obtain copies.* Location- Donigian Park - 230 Valley St - Providence, RI Donigian Park at 230 Valley St is an approximately 4-acre park with various amenities. The focus of this project is on the existing Futsal field in the northwest corner of the park adjacent to Barstow St. This 6400+ sf artificial turf field needs repair and revitalization and the surrounding asphalt and lawn need to be removed and regraded. Additional amenities are also being added to the field, including: 8'H heavy-duty black vinyl chain link fence to stop errant balls, player benches: spectator benches, a trash receptacle, a stone dust path, and replacing the existing open stormwater infiltration basin with a sand filter. BASE BID: The Base Bid scope of work for this project shall include, but not be limited to the following:
o Remove & Dispose asphalt paving
o Remove & Stockpile existing 4' H black vinyl chain link fence
o Remove & Dispose existing 8' H black vinyl chain link fence
o Rough & Fine grading of the site as noted on the grading plan
o Furnish & Install concrete pads for two (2) player benches & one (1) trash receptacle
o Furnish & Install sixty (60) feet of heavy-duty black vinyl chain link fence.
o Install from stockpile 4'H black vinyl chain link fence
o Furnish & Install three (3) granite slab benches on compacted gravel base
o Furnish & Install two (2) 8'L Aluminum player benches (surface-mount on concrete pad)
o Furnish & Install one (1) 55-Gal Trash Receptacle (surface-mount on concrete pad)
o Furnish & Install new 2" Bituminous asphalt paving
o Furnish & Install 4'W stabilized stone dust path
o Furnish & Install new sand filter in infiltration area
o Furnish & Install Riverstone outfall for existing Futsal field subdrain pipe
o Loam & Hydroseed all newly graded or disturbed areas
o Repair, de-compact, & groom futsal field per field repair plan
1. Demolition and removal of selected site elements.
2. Salvage of existing items to be reused or recycled. 1. Excavating and filling for rough grading the Site.
2. Preparing subgrades for slabs-on-grade walks pavements turf and grasses .
3. Excavating and backfilling for buildings and structures.
4. Drainage course for concrete slabs-on-grade.
5. Subbase course for concrete pavements.
6. Subbase course and base course for asphalt paving. Hot-mix asphalt paving. The goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation is 10% of the total bid value.
The goal for Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation is 10% of the total bid value.
The goal for combined MBE/WBE participation is 20% of the total bid value.
