**As of January 3, 2022, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project includes maintenance type repairs and replacement of certain items of the Passenger Loading Bridges at Gates 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 at the Atlantic City International Airport.
All work shall be completed according to the manufacturer service recommendations and Bulletins by a manufacturer certified service vendor with a minimum of 5 years of documented experience performing maintenance work to airport loading bridges.
The project shall be bid as follows: Base Bid #1 Replacement of vertical drive ball screws and motors at Gates 4, 8, 9 and 10. Base Bid #2 Base Bid #1, plus repair leaking vertical drive lift cylinders and check/fill hydraulic oil at Gate 3. Base Bid #3 Base Bid #2, plus ThyssenKrupp Airport Solutions Inc. spare parts (or Approved Equal) as described in the Summary of Work. Base Bid #4 Base Bid #3, plus JBT AeroTech Corporation spare parts (or Approved Equal) as described in the Summary of Work. In order to bid this project, the bidder shall be pre-qualified under at least one (1) of the following NJDPMC Trade Code(s) at the time of submission: DPMC Trade Code C008 General Construction DPMC Trade Code C009 General Construction / Alterations & Additions OR In lieu of NJDPMC certification, the bidder shall be considered pre-qualified by providing documentation showing a minimum of 5-years' experience of successfully providing maintenance services to airport loading bridges, similar to those requested herein. The bidder shall provide at least three current references with their listing of experience. In addition to the bidder prequalification, any subcontractor performing work on the project shall be pre-qualified, as applicable, under the following NJDPMC Trade Code(s) or NJDOT Class Code(s) at the time of submission: Electrical Work: DPMC Trade Code C047* Electrical Work: NJDOT Class Code 7 * *To be declared on Page P-9 Subcontractor Declaration Page of the Proposal Section.
There is no scheduled site visit. Bidders are encouraged to schedule an independent site visit prior to the question deadline by emailing bids@sjta.com and requesting a site visit in the same manner as prescribed in Instructions to Bidders #9. The Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Authority, in accordance with applicable law, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and also to waive any minor informality or non-material exceptions in any bid or bids so received.
