A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Huntsville Utilities (HU) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Engineering Companies (Engineer) interested in providing professional engineering services to assist in the design of a new Operations Center. The Engineer selected by HU will be offered the opportunity to enter into a Consulting Engineering Services Agreement with HU. Huntsville Utilities seeks professional engineering services to assist in the design of a new Operations Center for Huntsville Utilities Electric, Water, Gas, and Fiber distribution systems that will be located on existing Huntsville Utilities property at 1145 Jordan Road, Huntsville, AL 35811. This would involve defining a scope of work and devising a design for the new Operations Center All questions regarding the SOQ must be submitted to Miranda Duke in writing at Miranda.Duke@hsvutil.org prior to 12:00 P.M. CDT, December 7, 2021. Questions after Date will not be answered. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
