Renovation of a transportation facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The City of Murfreesboro is accepting sealed bids for Hangar 3 Spray Foam Insulation Project. Description/Specifications: Remove existing insulation from walls, ceilings, and hangar door panels; clean and prep surfaces, including the horizontal and vertical beams and braces of each wall and metal ceiling panels. Apply spray-on closed cell insulation to the clean surfaces at a minimum of 2" thickness. Hangar 3 has a square footage of 100' x 100'. All exterior walls will receive 2" of new closed cell insulation. The ceiling of Hangar 3 will receive 2" of closed cell insulation. Contractor will be responsible for protecting the fire sprinkler heads and making sure they stay intact and clean from sprayed foam insulation. Contractor must coordinate all work with Hangar 3 tenant, Murfreesboro Aviation. The Owner and Operator of Murfreesboro Aviation will be the main contact in conducting the work for this project.
