Site work for a water / sewer project in Cartersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of construction of approximately 55,300 CY of excavation, 34,900 CY of structural fill, 384,100 SF of low permeability liner base, 386,100 SF of Geosynthetic Clay Liner, 386,100 SF of 60 mil HDPE geomembrane, 386,100 SF of Geocomposite Drainage Net, 384,100 SF of protective cover layer; 2,330 LF of perforated leachate collection pipe, 604 LF of solid leachate pipe, 3 leachate cleanouts, sediment pond removal, abandoning a 60-inch HDPE pipe, stormwater management features; and various erosion and sedimentation control items. The work will be awarded in one Contract. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Proposal Bond, prepared on the form of Proposal Bond attached to the Request for Proposals or a Surety Companys Standard Proposal Bond, duly executed by the Proposer as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Proposal. The successful Proposer for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, which are not in the County's best interest, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
