Site work for a water / sewer project in Whitby, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Real Property Branch requires a qualified general contractor to rehabilitate the existing west entrance pier at the Whitby Small Craft Harbour. The Whitby Harbour West Pier Rehabilitation is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in the Town of Whitby, (Coordinates Google map search 43.85197, -78.92675). The work involves repair and realignment of the failed section of the pier by installing new external wale assemblies and tie rods. Other associated work to include the replacement of ladders and areas of pile cap, and supply of new clear stone and concrete for deck reinstatement in the affected areas. There will be no scheduled site visit. The site is open to the public and located at the parking lot 331 Water Street Whitby Ontario. (Coordinates Google map search 43.85197, -78.92675). Interested bidders may visit the site at their own convenience. The site visit will allow the contractor to view the applicable East Side work area, staging area and parking lot that will be reserved for construction access.
