Construction of water system improvements for Lee County Board of Commissioners & Lee County Utilities Authority. There are three (3) segments to the project located along three different roads. The first is located on the northeast side of US Hwy 82/GA 520 beginning at Oakland Rd and ending at Armena Rd. The second is located on the northeast side of Partridge Drive beginning at US 82/GA 520 and ending at Quail Valley Subdivision section two at the Southern Natural Gas right of way easement. The third is located on the northeast side of Armena Rd beginning at UA Hwy 82/GA 520 and ending at the Woodgrain Millwork driveway on Armena Rd. Total approximate area disturbed is 1.5 acres. Work shall be in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by Lanier Engineering, Inc A bid bond shall be required in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount.A Contract Performance Bond and a Materials and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. The Lee County Board of Commissioners, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality and to award the Proposal as may be in the best interest of the Owner, or readvertise for bids. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days of the commencement of the Contract Time as defined in the General Conditions of the Contract.
