Platte Purchase Park Concession Building
Project consists of constructing and installing a preengineered concession building provided by Romtec. Project includes, but not limited to; excavation, grading, concrete footings, foundations, and paving, carpentry, masonry, painting, roofing, plumbing, electrical, underground utilities installation, erosion control, landscaping, and cleanup. The work requires providing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment as necessary to complete the work. The work shall include furnishing the sealed architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plan sets and furnishing the structural, mechanical, and electrical building components as a complete, pre-designed restroom building package as shown on drawings and as specified herein. All Bids submitted must be accompanied by a Bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base Bid which shall be in the form of a Bid Bond (on the form provided in these Bidding Documents), Cashier's Check, Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit or other instrument approved in advance by the City. Specifications: 31100, 31200, 31220, 31250, 32920, 03100,03150, 03200, 03760 The goals for this specific Project are (11%) MBE participation and (8%) WBE participation.
1. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall begin on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed issued by the Director of Parks & Recreation, and the Work shall be substantially complete, in accordance with Paragraph 14.04, within 150 Calendar Days thereafter. Once the Work starts, CONTRACTOR shall continuously pursue completion of the Work. 2. The Work shall be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 within 15 Calendar Days after the date of Substantial Completion of the Work. CONTRACTOR shall furnish Performance and Maintenance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price Project Location: Platte Purchase Park, 2400 NW 100th Street, Kansas City, MO.
