Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Eatonton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Requests sealed bids, good for 60 business days, for a Gymnasium Roof and Insulation Project at the Poole Recreation Center Local and Minority Owned/operated and/or Women Owned/operated Businesses Are Encouraged to Submit Proposals. Putnam County Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any and All Technicalities and to Award the Bid Based on the Lowest and/or Best Interest of Putnam County Gymnasium Roof and Insulation Project. Putnam County is desiring a Standing Seam Roof at the Recreation Gym. o Remove current metal roof and insulation. Contractor will be responsible to haul off all roofing and insulation that is removed. o Furnish and install new roof insulation. Simple Saver Insulation System R-30. o Furnish and install new standing seam metal roof system. New standing seam roof panels to be a minimum thickness of what is currently on the roof or thicker/heavier and designed to span the framing and original purlins spacing installed. Panel rib heights to be a minimum of 1-1/2" high and installed to allow for thermal movement (expansion and contraction). Panels to be fabricated using Galvalume steel with a 25-year metal perforation warranty from the metal manufacturer. There shall be no exposed fasteners in the field panels of this roof system (not at eave, field or near ridge). o Contractor's 10-year workmanship warranty against roof leaks. Contractor will be on the jobsite within 24 hours of a call regarding roof leaks.
