The City of Burnaby invites Proposals from Proponents from qualified and experienced contractors to provide all necessary materials, labour, equipment, plant, tools, permits, and transportation to perform Asphalt Paving Services on an as and when required basis for the City of Burnaby (City) Engineering Department, as further detailed within. The City intends to award a Contract for a two (2) year term, with three (3) individual one year options to extend at the sole discretion of the City, for a maximum potential of five (5) years total. Any resulting contract is not exclusive, meaning the successful Proponent does not have the exclusive right to provide these services to the City. The City reserves the right to award to multiple Contractors, established a priority call-out list, assign portions of its requirements to other qualified firms either through a completion or select process, or conduct the work in-house. NO GUARANTEE OF WORK: The City does not agree to use the Contractor exclusively, nor does the City guarantee the quantity or value of work to be awarded to the Contractor(s). The Contractor shall provide only services specifically requested by the City and in accordance with the term of this RFP. The onus is on the Proponent to make sure the City receives the Proposal before the closing date and time. Maximum email submission size is 50 MB.
