Money Island Shoreline Restoration All questions will be addressed by 4:00 PM on December 9, 2021 by the Division. The Project Manager will then coordinate with the pre-qualified contractor regarding the best practicable means to obtain the bid documents while maintaining social distancing practices. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid and a certified statement from a bonding company stating that it will furnish necessary performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 2A:44-147 inclusive, with sureties satisfactory to the State of New Jersey. The Department of Environmental Protection reserves the right to waive any minor informality in a bid or to reject any or all bids pursuant to law. The work to be performed under these specifications consists of the furnishing of all construction materials, equipment, labor, supplies and facilities, and the performing of all work necessary to construct nearshore breakwaters, a terminal groin, and beach restoration, and all related work per project description, together with all appurtenant work, as required by and in conformance with these Specifications and Project Plans in twelve (12) sheets, last revised November 19, 2021, and identified as "Money Island Shoreline Restoration Project Phase II: Breakwaters, Terminal Groin, and Beach Restoration.
