The final addendum will be released Friday, December 10. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Proposal, including all add alternates must accompany the proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Should a successful Bidder withdraw their bid, or fail to execute a satisfactory contract within 10 days after notice of acceptance of the bid, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages, not as penalty. Bidder shall agree not to withdraw Bid Proposal for a period of Forty-Five (45) days after date for receipt of bids. All additive Alternate Bids may be held for a period not to exceed Forty-Five (45) days after signing of Contract. Accepted Bidder shall be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities therein is reserved by the Owner. a. January 11, 2022: Anticipated award of Project at regularly scheduled School Board Meeting. b. August 12, 2022: Substantial Completion of the entire Project, prior to the start of the 2022 school year.
