A timeline for award has not yet been established.*** Project Number- 2018155.01 Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder to whom the contract is awarded will execute the Contract Documents and will provide the required payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract. The schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day of eight hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at least time and one half. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as provided by Public Contract Code 5100 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The intent of these drawings and specifications is that the alteration, rehabilitation or reconstruction is to be in accordance with Title 24, California Code of Regulations. Should any existing conditions such as deterioration or non-complying construction be discovered which is not covered by the contract documents wherein the finished work will not comply with Title 24, California Code of Regulations, a Construction Change Document, or a separate set of plans and specifications, detailing and specifying the required repair work shall be submitted to and approved by Division of the Sate Architect before proceeding with the repair work The Project Scope Has Been Identified To Include The Following: 1. Site A. New Ornamental Fence And Gate With Hardware. 2. Classroom Buildings A, D And H A. North Wall: Demolition Of Existing Windows And Installation Of New Dual Pane Window. Infill Remaining Fenestration With New Exterior Wall. B. Th Wal : Demolition Of Existing Clerestory Windows Above And Infill Existing Fenestration With New Exterior Wall 3. Food Service In Multipurpose Building A. Removal Of All Existing Kitchen Equipment And Associated Accessories And Installation Of New Kitchen Equipments And Associated Accessories. 8. Demolition Of Existing Floor, Wall And Ceiling Finishes And Installation Of New Floor, Wall And Ceiling Finishes. C. Demolition Of Existing Mechanical, Electrical And Plumbing System And Installation Of New Mechanical, Electrical And Plumbing System.
