Q and A and Clarifications (email only to wmoody@collegeparkga.com) Ref: Cooling Tower Renovation December 28, 2021 12:00 pm (EST) deadline The City of College Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on past performance and to waive technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. All Minority, Woman and Small Businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Only responsive bids that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth by the City of College Park will be considered. Furnish the labor and materials to renovate cooling tower and cells 1 and 2 of the GICC BAC Cooling Towers - Baltimore Aircoil Co. Model # 33485-2, Serial # U014576402. The project will include the replacement of the top hot deck basins and weirs, the interior fill cells, two (2) new belts, two (2) new basin drain screens, and the cleaning and installation of a new elastomeric surface coating to the cold basins. Installation is to be completed by the contract supplier in accordance with all manufacturers specifications. The work shall be completed to allow for the necessary operation of the cooling systems during the project.
