Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in South San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 24,655-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; swimming pool; and swimming pool.

The new aquatic center will be a single-story, all-electric building and will include an outdoor 25-meter by 25-yard pool. The indoor pool will be a recreation and teaching pool and will have (7) 25-yard lanes, a zero-beach entry, and will include interactive water features. The building will include an activity room, locker rooms and offices for SSF Staff. Each bid submittal must be accompanied by Cash, cashier's check or certified check, payable to the order of the City of South San Francisco, of not less ten percent (10%) of the bid or a bond in said amount, payable to the City of South San Francisco and signed by the bidder as well as a corporate surety, shall accompany the bid. Bidder's attention is directed to those provisions of the contract documents which require the Contractor to whom the contract for work is awarded, to file with the Owner at the time the contract is executed, a Contractor's Labor and Material Payment Bond ("Contractor's Payment Bond") and a Contractor'sPerformance Bond meeting all the requirements of the contract documents and approved by the City Attorney of the City of South San Francisco. Bonds shall be executed by a surety possessing a valid certificate of authority issued by the California Department of Insurance and shall name the City of South San Francisco as beneficiary. The Contractor's Performance Bond shall be for 100% of the contract price. The Contractor's Labor and Material Payment Bond shall be for 100% of the contract price. All prospective bidders are hereby cautioned that the State of California Contractor's Law regulates license requirements for bidding various types of projects. This project can be bid by a contractor possessing, at the time of bid submittal, a valid Class B California Contractor's License ("License"). Bidders may submit pre-bid inquiries or clarification requests. The City will not respond to any bidder inquiries or clarification requests, unless such inquiries or clarification requests are submitted timely to online. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bid.
