Renovation of a data center facility in Williamsburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified Offerors to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for a waterless fire suppression system in a Data Center to include installation and maintenance. All Pre-Proposal Conference attendees shall provide certification of employment on the company's official letterhead. This certification shall be emailed to Caprice. White@jamescitycountyva.gov by the close of business on the work day immediately prior to the pre-proposal Conference. Any potential attendee not listed on the Purchasing office's list as supplying the above certification will not be allowed to attend the Site Visit. In addition, all attendees must show an up to date picture identification to attend the site visit. The Purchasing Staff will be sole judge of whether a person is cleared to attend the Site Visit. Due to the ongoing pandemic,Masks will be required. Any questions concerning the requirements of the RFP should be emailed in writing: Caprice White, Senior Purchasing Specialist, Caprice.White@jamescitycountyva.gov. Written questions and requests for clarification, if any, must be received in the Purchasing Office no later than 2:00 pm, January 13, 2022
