Notice is hereby given that the Walton County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the lowest responsible, qualified, general contractor, bidder The project includes interior build-out and exterior work including window replacement, brick repair, coping and limited site work, and utilities. All equal products will be acceptable for substitutions without prior approval. However, the burden of proof will be on the proposer. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance will be required with The Walton County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Funds in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount. All Bidders must submit a Bid Bond, E-verify Contractor Affidavit, verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program, and signed Walton County General Conditions form with their bid.
