Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

As of January 25, 2023, the project is under construction and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2023. The Orange County Fire Station 80 is an approximately 11,730 SF, single-story structure. The building is located on Bonneville Drive in Orlando, FL. on a 1.38 acre site. The Orange County Fire Station 80 has three (3) Apparatus Bays, apparatus bay support areas, along with general facility functions such as, Kitchen, Dining, Dormitory, Restrooms & Showers, with Equipment/Utility/Support spaces also included. This is considered an Essential Facility according to the Florida Building Code and must comply with the required design criteria (pressures and impact). The building structure includes reinforced masonry with structural steel framing and metal deck with insulation and metal roofing system. Exterior envelope systems (doors, storefront, glazing, apparatus bay doors and exterior rolling doors) are to comply with missile impact Level "D" and low "E" properties are required. Extent of concrete work is shown on drawings, including schedules, notes and details which show size and location of members and type of concrete to be poured. Furnish all labor, materials, services, equipment and hardware required in conjunction with or related to the forming, delivery and pouring of all poured-in-place concrete work. Concrete paving and walks are specified in Division 2. Extent of each type of masonry work is indicated on the architectural and structural drawings and in schedules. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for and incidental to the installation of all masonryconstruction as indicated on the drawings and specified herein. Masonry construction includes non-reinforced concrete masonry including concrete filled masonry beams, columns, pilasters, lintels, and soffits. Accessories include, but are not necessarily limited to, ties, horizontal and vertical reinforcement, anchors to the structure, and control joints. The masonry contractor shall install all accessory items that are required in the work and supplied by others, including: bolts, nailing blocks, inserts, anchors, flashing, lintels, expansion joints, conduits, etc. Types of masonry work required include concrete unit masonry (CMU). *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
