Site work for a civil project in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This Contract involves the replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of existing 10-inch PVC wastewater force main, and other associated work situated along S. Chickasaw Trail from the intersection of S. Chickasaw Trail and Lee Vista Blvd north to Orange County Pump Station Number 3970 (a distance of approximately 3,000 linear feet) To ensure that your bid is responsive, you are urged to request clarification or guidance on any issues involving this solicitation before submission of your response. For full information and options on how to submit an offer please review the solicitation documents electronically The Ordinance also addresses minority/women group employment levels setting goals to encourage each Bidder to maintain 18% minority and 6% women employees. 1. County will employ and pay for services of an Independent Testing Laboratory to perform Testing specifically indicated on the Contract Documents or specified in the Specifications and may at any other time elect to have materials and equipment tested for conformity with the Contract Documents. The City of Orlando, as owner of the right-of-way, shall also employ and pay for services of an Independent Testing Laboratory to perform testing of materials. Contractor shall cooperate with both the County's and City's laboratory to facilitate the execution of its required services. Employment of a laboratory by County and by the City shall in no way relieve Contractor's obligations to perform the Work. The Work covered by this section consists of providing all temporary bypassing to perform all operations in connection with the flow of wastewater around pipe segment(s) or pump stations. The purpose of bypassing is to prevent wastewater overflows and provide continuous service to all wastewater customers. The Contractor will maintain wastewater flow in the construction area in order to prevent backup and/or overflow and provide reliable wastewater service to the users of the wastewater system at all times.
