Renovation of a museum in Calhoun, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
A 5% Bid Security and 100% Performance and Payment Bond are required for this project. The scoring of proposals is subject to reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders and preferences for a Qualified Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and/or waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. he Work consists of partial renovations to the second floor of an existing historical building. Two new single user restrooms will be added. A new kitchenette area will be added as well as new interior storefronts. The area of renovation is approximately 3,100 sq. ft. This is a USDA grant funded project. The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, rough carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, joint sealants, wood doors, aluminum storefronts, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, painting, signs, toilet accessories, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and clean-up and removal of construction debris
