This Request for Manufacture Qualification (RFMQ) is issued by Plexxus for the purpose of identifying manufacturers and their products that best meet the security system requirements of Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As such, proposals will be considered from the Product manufacture only. Each manufacturer is being provided with the opportunity to demonstrate its platform's suitability for consideration by RVH with an invitation to complete this RFMQ. Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is seeking to upgrade and modernize its security systems across its main hospital facility and four (4) satellite sites. The initial phase of this project involves assessing the latest enterprise level security solutions offered by comparable manufacturers for two (2) categories of systems: Access Control/Alarm Monitoring and Video Surveillance. Each manufacturer may submit a proposed solution for one or both categories of systems. Plexxus will accept proposals from the system manufacturer only. There will be a limit of up to two (2) Proponents qualified for each category of system. A detailed list by category of technical requirements is included in the Requirements Compliance Table Schedules. Following the conclusion of the RFMQ, a list of the qualified manufacturers and pre-approved systems will be included in a future Request for Proposal (RFP) that will be publicly posted by Plexxus. The Request for Proposal will include the supply, installation, programming, testing/commissioning and maintenance of equipment, materials and software required to modernize the security systems.
