The work to be done under this contract includes but is not limited to the following: Provision of all labor and materials required for the replacement of the existing storm sewer system within the watershed. Base bid includes 590 linear feet (LF) of 8'x8' RCB, 110 LF of 8'x6' RCB, 640 LF of 8'x3' RCB, 400 LF of 60"x38" RCHE, 1,290 LF of 42" RCP, 220 LF of 36" RCP, 250 LF of 30" RCP, 400 LF of 24" RCP, 480 LF of 18" RCP and 493 LF of 15" RCP, 20 curb inlets of various sizes, 3300 tons of asphalt pavement and approximately 2,000 square yards of concrete pavement. Alternate bid totals include 360 LF of 42" RCP, 340 LF of 30" RCP, 410 LF of 24" RCP, 430 LF of 18" RCP, 530 LF of 15" RCP, approximately 2,000 tons of asphalt pavement Work crossing, on and along 19th Street shall be completed prior to August 5, 2022 so that traffic flow during the school year is uninterrupted. 18 th and Maine Street water main construction shall be completed in three phases including: Phase 1 (18th Street between Naismith and Maine Street), Phase 2 (Maine St and 18th St between Main and Alabama Street), and Bid Alternate Phase 3 (18th Street between Alabama and Louisiana Street). Waterline construction shall be completed following installation of the storm sewer for these areas with the exception of the Maine Street water main south of 18th Street, which can be completed prior. Contractor shall disinfect, test, perform service reconnections for each phase prior to beginning subsequent phases unless directed by the City. Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) phases can be combined to facilitate waterline construction phases. Any changes shall be submitted to the City for approval
