The Valeport Wetland Restoration project consists of the following work: - demolition, removal, and offsite disposal of the Valeport control structure, associated wetland control and culvert structures, ancillary structures and additional on-site materials; including removal, hauling, and disposal of materials at appropriate waste facility sites; - compliance and coordination with regulatory authorities; - temporary roads; including preparation, maintenance, and final removal including site restoration; - site improvements involving earthworks at the control structure and breach locations; including sloping, topsoil removal and replacement on the receiving surfaces, seeding, and erosion control matting installation; - installation of warning signs; - removal and installation of a new entry gate, and; - abide by all requirements of CP Railway and Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways for crossing their infrastructure.
