This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the City of Regina (the "City") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for 2022 Tree Pruning, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). It is the intention of the City to obtain a contractor to carry out the pruning of elm trees and other deciduous trees at specified locations within the City limits as stated herein. Street trees are identified as required for pruning on an area (sector), then street, then block basis. The intention of contracted tree pruning is to assist in-house services to achieve a 1 in 10-year pruning cycle goal for all street trees. Most of the trees identified in the RFQ are elm and are subject to the Provincial Dutch Elm Disease (DED) regulations/elm pruning ban. To respect provincial regulation, the timeline for the project is to be completed from January 10, 2022 to March 31, 2022; with finishing work (if required) to be completed in the fall after September 1, 2022. The contract must be completed in its entirety, with final billing received, no later than November 25, 2022.
