Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Rockford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; for the addition of a swimming pool; for the renovation of a swimming pool; educational facility; and educational facility.

Gravel subbase to be graded and compacted to +/-0.05 foot. Final grading and proof rolling are the responsibility of asphalt paving or concrete contractor. This contractor is responsible for compaction and/or correction of any areas that do not pass tests. . Responsible for keeping public roads clean of construction traffic dirt and debris. . Excavation, bedding materials, piping, structures, backfill, compaction, etc. as required for all underground utility construction, all to within 5 feet of the building unless noted otherwise. . Temporary tree protection measures. . Strip, stockpile and respread topsoil to machine grade +/-0.10 foot. . Site related demolition, including but not limited to, pavements, site walls, utility structures, etc. 11. Remove and salvage existing signs for reinstallation, store and protect at direction of Construction Manager. General Trades to reinstall signs. . Soil erosion permit and erosion control. . Maintain and control grades to facilitate the run-off of site surface water. . Supply and maintain barricading as required for the work of this contractor. . Excavation, over excavation and controlled fill for building foundations installed by the concrete contractor, including proper disposal, at an off-site location, of unsuitable soils. BID CATEGORY NO. 2 - FENCING - Complete the fencing and gate work BID CATEGORY NO. 3 - CONCRETE Reinforcing steel, as shown. . Install embedded items supplied by others. . Necessary heat and weather protection for the completion of this contractor's work. . All necessary surveying and staking for this contractor's work. The C.M. will supply building control points and establish a benchmark. . Perimeter slab/foundation insulations. . Shoring and supports required for the completion of this contractor's work. . Concrete topping and curb at precast BID CATEGORY NO. 4 - PRECAST CONCRETE Reinforced steel as shown. . Install embedded items supplied by others. . Shoring and supports required for the completion of this contractors. . All welding of precast to steel. . Cut, reinforce, and grout planks at connections as shown. . Coordinate openings in precast with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors . Install guardrail at perimeter of your floor system. Install immediately after grouting. Install in a manner to allow concrete topping to be completed without removal. Maintaining guardrail by others. BID CATEGORY NO. 5 - MASONR All masonry reinforcement, grout fill, loose fill or cavity wall insulation, etc. as shown and/or specified. Grouting solid of hollow metal frames in masonry Weld anchors where specified or required. Necessary heat/weather protection for this contractor's work. . Clean all new masonry Flashings and weepholes concealed in masonry work. Includes pre-finished flashings. BID CATEGORY NO. 6 - METALS Installation of temporary railings at stairs and removal of same at the time of installation or permanent railings. Furnish and erect all temporary railings as required by MIOSHA, including all necessary cables, clamps, urnish and erect all structural steel, joists, decks, and metal fabrications Slab edge pour stops BID CATEGORY NO. 7 - GENERAL TRADES Removal of floor mastics, glue and residue etc. by this contractor. Flooring only has minor prep. . Include ceiling removal wall and floor tile removal and saw cutting as shown on plans. Coordinate with appropriate trades for final extent of demo. . Include radar/scanning or imaging of concrete floor prior to saw cutting at pool to avoid cutting unknown conduits, piping etc. . Provide demolition survey plan as well as engineered shoring plan if required per MIOSHA requirements. . Schedule, take delivery, inventory, store and install all items noted as "Install Only" above. Provide a list of material received each day to the Construction Manager's Superintendent. All items not so noted are to be furnished and installed. . Take field measurements, onsite surveys and inspections required for the ordering and/or installations of items provided under their scope of work BID CATEGORY NO. 8 - ROOFING Furnish and install Roof Hatches as Shown. Include blocking as required to accommodate insulation. Snow removal as required for the completion of this contractor's work. Include joint sealants related to this contractor's work. . Furnish and install all roof edge metal, coping, wall caps etc. as part of roof system BID CATEGORY NO. 9 - JOINT SEALANTS Joints in concrete and masonry wall construction, as required. . Joint sealants at the perimeter of metal panel systems. . Joint sealants at Masonry, and LPDA corners and CJ's BID CATEGORY NO. 10 - DOORS, FRAMES AND HARDWARE Multiple deliveries may be required. Coordinate with the project schedule. . Provide temporary keying system during construction. . Automatic door operators. . Coordinate/verify door undercuts at tile floors. . Furnish electric strikes and power supplies for openings covered under this category. . Provide final keying as directed by Architect and Owner per Specifications. .
