Replacement of the Walker's bridge (BR057) on Salmon River Drive Off Hwy 107 in Westphal. The bridge is a timber structure that carries Salmon River Drive over Little Salmon River near Ross Road. Remove and dispose of existing creosote timber bridge and contaminated soils; construct new single span precast concrete NEXT beam bridge with cast in place concrete abutments on micropiles; install steel traffic barriers; replace suspended watermain and tie ins; roadway realignment; gravel and asphalt paving; driveway reinstatement; ditches and culverts; landscaping; construct temporary access road to Highway 107 with temporary traffic signals and remove after bridge opening.
