Renovation of a water / sewer project in Idaho Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Argo Tunnel Water Treatment Facility, located in Idaho Springs, Colorado, is undergoing an upgrade to the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The objective of this project will be to upgrade the existing five (5) PLCs, I/O modules, and communication network to future ready hardware and software. The existing aging hardware has become obsolete and is no longer supported. Work must be coordinated to allow for Owner occupancy of the Argo WTP at all times. The facility must remain in service during the PLC conversions.
