The Project consists of furnishing labor and equipment for the video inspection of sanitary sewers in the Village of North Hornell. The base bid project includes the cleaning and video inspection of approximately 5,315 Linear Feet of 8" sanitary sewer, 6,272 Linear Feet of 12" sanitary sewer, and 48 Linear Feet of 14" sanitary sewer, including temporary sanitary sewer flow management. Also, the project includes an add-alternate bid for the additional cleaning and video inspection of approximately 13,122 Linear Feet of 8" sanitary sewer and 250 Linear Feet of 12" sanitary sewer, including temporary sanitary sewer flow management. Sealed Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. If the CD is to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidderâs active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. For a nonrefundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Avalon Planroom. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidderâs active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. The Bidding Documents must be obtained through the Avalon Planroom in order to be considered a Plan Holder of record. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the offices of MRB Group, and the Village of North Hornell, 4 West Maplewood Street, North Hornell, New York 14843, on Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM, and Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM; or online through internet based construction information subscription services. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidderâs date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Village of North Hornell, nor Engineer, nor Avalon will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Village of North Hornell, Steuben County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
