Renovation of a transportation facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening. The City will not accept or consider bids delivered by fax or by e-mail, at any other location past the deadline The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicit bids to obtain an emergency contract for Doors and Glazing at the South Terminal and South Campus of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Airport) to repair damage and mitigate further damage sustained during Hurricane Ida. The requested services include (but are not limited to) the following: 1. The Contractor will be responsible for the gathering, loading, hauling, and disposing of the identified doors and windows in the locations described below. Contractor shall keep the building(s) dried-in from the time of Notice To Proceed through completion and acceptance by NOAB. Scope also includes procurement and disposal of all materials and/or equipment necessary for the repairs. All materials shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent equal. Contractor shall take all precautions to prevent any construction materials and debris from entering the secured air side of building. 2. SIDA badging and operational requirements and restrictions while working on an active airfield will be enforced. Access to airside work areas shall be through Gate 167. Standard safety procedures shall be implemented, and qualified personnel shall be contracted, to successfully complete all tasks. All work shall be completed within 30 calendar days of issuance of Notice To Proceed (NTP). 3. Dimensions and quantities of all doors and windows are approximate. Contractor is to verify all dimensions and estimated quantities. 4. Contractor shall notify MSY upon completion of work to schedule final inspection and acceptance, prior to issuance of final payment. Contractor to submit before and after pictures of the work areas. Include Latitude and Longitude coordinates on the pictures of each work area. 5. Procurement of all necessary permits and AHJ approvals for the completion of the work. 6. Below are the locations of windows and doors to be replaced.
