Attachment A New Orleans Aviation Board Emergency ITB for Building 15 Demolition City of New Orleans Solicitation # 1704 Attachment A New Orleans Aviation Board Emergency ITB for Building 15 Demolition City of New Orleans Solicitation # 1704 Page 1 of 4 EMERGENCY INVITATION TO BID CITY OF NEW ORLEANS SOUTH CAMPUS - BUILDING 15 DEMOLITION ATTACHMENT "A" BID SPECIFICATIONS The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicit bids to obtain an emergency contract for South Campus Building 15 Demolition at the South Terminal and South Campus of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Airport) made necessary by Hurricane Ida. The requested services include (but are not limited to) the following: The Contractor will be responsible for any and all tasks necessary to complete the demolition and proper disposal of Building 15 structure and contents, located at 15 Middle Access Road, Kenner, LA 70062. The building is approximately 21,000 sf (+/ -), and comprised of a s teel frame structure, with metal roof and fasteners. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Procurement of all necessary permits and AHJ approvals for the completion of the work 2. Demotion of the structure to the finished floor of the foundation. Anchor bolts shall be cut-off at the surface level of the finished floor. 3. Coordination with utility service providers to discontinue service and disconnection of utility services. 4. Capping, plugging or termination of all building public and private utility services. 5. Disposal or recycling of all demolished building materials and building contents. Hazardous materials will be properly disposed per environmental guidelines at authorized collection centers. Primary and secondary routes should be considered when hauling and disposing of debris to and from collection centers. Contractor shall provide proof of proper disposal (Receipts, landfill tickets, etc.) 6. Refer to the attached Exhibit 2 -Specification 024116 - Structure Demolition for additional requirements. Access to the work shall be at the entrance at Middle Access Rd . Standard safety procedures shall be implemented, and qualified personnel shall be contracted, to successfully complete all tasks. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days of issuance of Notice To Proceed (NTP).
