As of February 17, 2022, the project was awarded to FLORENCE CONCRETE PRODUCTS INC. Bid amount received is $90,548.75. Pickens County is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of pre-stressed Portland concrete bridge deck members. These bridge components shall meet all applicable current SCDOT standards and specifications. Project Location: 138 Hagood Mill Road Pickens, SC 29672 1. ) There will be 9 cored bridge slabs 45 foot in length, produced for the bridge to give a 27 foot width. 2. ) Slabs will use 8000 psi concrete in their production 3. ) There will be 90 feet of barrier rail included. 4. ) Bearing pads for the bridge and barrier rail included. Bearing pads for the bridge and barrier rail will be approximately 6 inches wide and the proper length to fit the dimensions. 5. ) Post tensioning cables will be used to secure the bridge; all cables, plates, and chucks needed for securement will be included in the price. 6. ) Grout needed for keyway between the slabs will be included in the price. 7. ) Hardware to connect the barrier rail to the bridge slab shall be provided and included in the price. 8. ) Removable stranded steel cable lifters to the lift the labs into position that can be removed upon placement of the slabs shall be included. 9. ) Pickens County will require shop drawings based on current SCDOT Standard Drawings for 3'-0" x l'-9" cored slabs and barrier walls. These drawings will be submitted for approval 30 days before fabrication of deck members begin. 10. ) Delivery will be FOB Destination to 138 Hagood Mill Road Pickens SC 29672. The delivery cost is to be included in the price. 11. ) Please include all applicable taxes in the bid price.
