Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for salvage of transmission line infrastructure on the 115kV double circuit line PA1&PA2. This line is routed from the Pine Falls Generating Station to the previous Tembec Industries paper mill site, near the town of Powerview-Pine Falls. Salvage work includes removal of conductor and hardware between towers 13 to 18, and towers 18 to 23; removal of jumper conductors at towers 13, 18, and 23; removal of suspension towers 16 and 17; removal of dead end tower 18; and cut-off of foundations below grade and backfilling for towers 16, 17, and 18.
