The Town of Fryeburg is accepting bids for hauling and acceptance for any of the following for a three-year period.Municipal Solid Waste, MSW - Approximately 1,600 tons Single Sort Recyclables - Approximately 360 tons Demolition - Approximately 600 tons Size - minimum 40 yards.Town at this time owns (3) 40 yard containers. The Hauler will supply similar container(s) on an as needed basis. The transfer station will have two containers at all times with one being loaded and another at the ready. In the summer months an extra container may be necessary. All containers will be hauled within 24 hours of being notified that the container is full. During the week of the Fryeburg Fair, containers will be made available as needed and hauled immediately when notified. The fair fills 2 to 3 containers per day for that week only, including Saturday and Sunday (approximately 175 tons). The fair is always the week that includes the first Wednesday in October. Will be taken to designated sites. The Hauler will supply two (2) 40 yard open top roll offs and rotate them as needed. The Town may haul materials to other locations from time to time. Debris materials will be hauled within 24 hours of notice. Transportation should be bid on a complete round trip basis. Other Transportation Services should be bid at an hourly flat rate. Bid cost for hauling will be complete round trip. MSW, Single Sort Recyclables and Demolition will be transported from the Transfer Station on Rte 5 by Canal Bridge in the Town of Fryeburg (approximately 2 miles past the Fryeburg Fairgrounds) to an approved facility. The contract will be for a 3-year Fiscal Period Beginning July 1, 2022 Through June 30, 2025. Fiscal Year 2023 -July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023 Fiscal Year 2024 -July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024 Fiscal Year 2025 -July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025 The Town of Fryeburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
