Generator Tap Box/Load Bank Installation. NYGH is looking for electrical contractor to install new tap box package. The Hospital has two diesel generators. The existing switchgear does not have the provision to connect directly a rental generator for backup during renovations or a rental load bank for testing; that involves disruptive shutdowns. While Plexxus and the Hospital have used considerable effort to ensure an accurate representation of information in this RFP, the information contained in this RFP is supplied solely as guidance for Proponents. The information is not guaranteed or warranted to be accurate by Plexxus or the Hospital, nor is it necessarily comprehensive or exhaustive. Nothing in this RFP is intended to relieve Proponents from forming their own opinions and conclusions with respect to the matters addressed in this RFP. The Hospital's intent is to install a tap box with the associated switchgear and cabling modifications to allow for direct connection of a rental generator or load bank.
