UTSA’s Volleyball and Basketball Training Facility (VBTF) will be a new, free-standing structure (approximately 50,000 square feet) to be located adjacent to the Roadrunner Athletic Center ofExcellence (RACE) on the southwest side of Main Campus. It will be home to daily operations forthe Men’s and Women’s Basketball and the Women’s Volleyball programs. The facility will provide all practice facility amenities associated with a top-tier NCAA Division 1 basketball program. Each program will have its own practice court, team locker and shower space, film review room, team lounge space, and program office space including a reception area, work room,breakroom, offices for coaches and video editing workroom, lockers and showers for coaches.Programs will share strength and conditioning facilities, hydrotherapy facilities, and equipment andlaundry facilities Construction completion schedule is 19 months. The Owner has established a Construction Manager’s Budget Limitation (CMBL) amount of $27,340,150 which includes the Pre-Construction Phase Fee and the Construction Services Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal.
