RFIs will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on January 3, 2022 The Project consists of a comprehensive water leak detection survey throughout several rural town areas (approximately 150 miles) and residential village areas (approximately 250 miles) for approximately 400 miles of water main (approximately 60% cast/ductile iron and 40% PVC/HDPE). A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. This project is funded by New York State Depart of State, Local Government Efficiency Program. The program includes a 15% goal for Minority Owned Business Enterprises and a 15% goal for Women Owned Business Enterprises Each Bidder shall include a Bid Bond with its bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS." CERTIFIED OR BANK CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The County of Livingston reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids shall be binding for a period of forty-five (45) days after the bid opening date. Livingston County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities therein.
