The Hamlet of Sun Dale is an unorganized hamlet in the Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220. The Hamlet of Sun Dale has a mix of residential and commercial housing used both permanently as well as seasonally. There are currently thirty-one (31) households connected to the central water and sewer/septic system with the possibility of more in the years to come. Each property is equipped with its own curb valve for water & sewer and own grinder pump which grinds the sewage and pumps it to the central collection area. The Hamlet of Sun Dale is located twenty-six and a half (26.5) kilometers from the municipal lagoon The tipping fee per load for the RM of McKillop municipal lagoon is: fifteen dollars ($15) for a tri-axle tandem truck or larger, fifteen dollars ($15) for a tandem axle truck and ten dollars ($10) for a single axle truck This tender period is for a twelve (12) month term with a one (1) year renewal option The minimum amount pumped and hauled away in the last 12 months is approximately one-million, nine hundred ninety-three thousand (1,993,000) gallons The amounted pump and hauled away is not guaranteed and vary over the twelve (12) period All septic haulers are required to have trucks with a hydraulic gate valve no larger than eight (8) inches to control sewage spillage on the pad site and roads. Currently two (2) septic tanks in use, with a capacity of ten thousand (10,000) gallons each, a third tank exists with a capacity of ten thousand (10,000) gallons Preparation of Tenders: All Tenders shall include the following: The cost of pumping and hauling per gallon The type of vehicles(s)/equipment bring used to collect and haul Contingency plan if in the event of vehicle/equipment break down/failure Confirmation that the contents removed from the Hamlet of Sun Dale will only be disposed of at the RM of McKillop No. 220 municipal lagoon Confirmation that the Contractor will abide by the RM of McKillop No. 220 Liquid Domestic Waste Bylaw No. 385/2020 & Bylaw No. 402/20202020 (these bylaws can be found on our website at www.rmofmckillop220.com) Confirmation that the Contractor will only operate vehicles(s)/equipment in accordance with the RM of McKillop No. 220 Overweight Vehicle Permit Bylaw No. 399/2020 (this bylaw can be found on our website at www.rmofmckillop220.com) Copy of valid liability insurance (minimum $2,000,000) PST Clearance letter, if applicable
