Services for the Project will consist of installation of a new concrete slab, fitness court, and shade structure at a location near the Escondido Public Library The City of Escondido ("City") shall accept bids for this NFC Fitness Court Install: Library ("Project") at the Engineering Counter, 201 N. Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025 ("Submission Deadline").Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, time-stamped, and marked on the outside with the following Project title:NFC Fitness Court Install: Library.Mailed bids shall be double wrapped with an external shipping envelope that contain the bid documents.Alternatively, bids may be submitted via email to: jwyner@escondido.org with a cc to mdaquila@escondido.org. The subject line of the email must read: "Attn: BID NFC Fitness Court Install: Library Questions Concerning This Project Should be directed to: City of Escondido Project Coordinator Rafael Rivera 201 N. Broadway, Escondido, California 92025 Phone 760-839-4802 The City reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any or all bids, or to make award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and reject all other bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. The general prevailing rate of wages for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract shall be those as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Copies of such prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the office of the City Clerk, which copies shall be made available to any interested party on request. Execution of the Contract includes providing the City with evidence of insurance coverage, or any other documentation required by the Contract. The Contractor shall execute the Contract before January 28, 2022.
