SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all necessary parts, labor, tools, materials, equipment, delivery, resources and stamped shop drawings as may be required for the removal, disposal and replacement of six (6) 12' x 12' skylights and one (1) 25' x 65' skylight. The glass shall be 1/4" hard coat low-e tempered outer pane and 3/8" laminated inner pane to match existing and the sealant shall be a neutral cure silicone. Refer to Specification Attachment E and Drawing Attachment F. Acceptable glass manufacturers are Oldcastle Building Envelope, Guardian Industries, Pilkington, WHTB Glass, and Vitro Architectural Glass. Any proposed substitute must be approved by PWCS. All items in this bid shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all applicable permits prior to beginning any work. The Contractor shall request all applicable inspections as required by local, state and/or federal codes and regulations. At the discretion of the PWCS Project Manager, any employee of the Contractor/ Subcontractor may be removed, with or without cause, from any project.2 The Contractor shall designate a Job Manager who shall be on site during any work being performed. The Project Manager shall communicate to the Contractor through the Contractor's Job Manager. The Contractor shall not act on requests or take direction from anyone except the designated Project Manager. Any additional work which is outside the scope of this contract, or any time extensions shall be approved by the Project Manager prior to starting the work. The Contractor shall provide sufficient protection for all structures at the site. The Contractor shall maintain a sufficient supply of manpower and equipment to complete the project in a safe and timely manner. Contractor shall make the areas safe at the end of each work shift. The Contractor shall promptly remove from the premises all work and/or materials condemned by PWCS as failing to conform to the contract, whether incorporated or not, and the Contractor shall promptly replace and re-execute condemned work in accordance with the contract and without expense to PWCS and shall bear the expense of making good all work of other Contractor destroyed or damaged by such removal or replacement.
