Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory Performance Bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit or bond shall be forfeited to the City of Yelm. This Contract provides for water main improvements within the City of Yelm. Work will consist of furnishing and installing approximately 1,400 linear feet of 12inch-diameter, 4,300 linear feet of 10 inch diameter, 100 linear feet of 8-inch-diameter, and 150 linear feet of 6-inch-diameter PVC water main, 80 linear feet of 12-inch-diameter DI water main and pipe support on bridge, seven fire hydrants, valves, appurtenances, replacement and reconnection of 24 water services, connections to the existing water main, traffic control and restoration of disturbed areas to equal or better condition. The Contractor shall provide and install all water system materials including water main, fittings, valves, fire hydrants, and water service materials. The Contractor shall complete all work within 120 working days. The estimated construction cost is $1,405,000. All bid proposals shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents.
